After 16 years in business being known as ESR Connect, we have built an excellent reputation within the NHS but as the old adage suggests, “This Too Shall Pass” and that mantra is now true not only of our old name, but our address too, and indeed quite a few other things behind the scenes as well.
I am proud to present to you our new name, ‘DATAPRO CONNECT LIMITED’.
Entering a new phase and rebranding is always a challenge as it feels a little bit like starting again from scratch and when you’ve been in business for as long as us, that’s not something we have taken lightly. We hope that our loyal customer base will be happy to come with us and be a big part of our new chapter, and we’ve worked hard to ensure that the design language of our rebrand is a logical progression from where we were before.
So what has prompted this I hear you cry… Well let me tell you. The main driving force behind the change is that our skills and the basis of our products, although NHS-specific in their current formats, are ultimately very transferrable and we want to explore new markets and expand our client base into other industries. Our new name is more generic and we feel it points more towards what we are offering rather than a set of initials which is meaningless to most people. We are Data Pros after all.
As DataPro Connect we remain committed to all our valued NHS clients and products
Our work with the NHS remains a cornerstone of our business and we will continue to innovate and develop our existing products in line with the needs of our NHS users, as well as providing up to the minute support when we are needed most. We realise the new name will take some getting used to, especially for our long term clients (and for us too!) but we know we can count on your support.
In addition to the name change, we have also moved offices and are now based in Padiham Town Hall near Burnley in Lancashire. The building itself was originally opened in 1938 and is very much in the art deco style. The interior in particular is very impressive and although the town councils operations are now much reduced, the council chambers are still intact and remain very grand. Much of the building is given over to office space for companies like us but there are also lots of events hosted there and it’s in an excellent location for us so we are delighted.
