DataPro Connect (formerly the ESR Connect Spreadsheet) has established itself as a powerful and indispensable tool for NHS Payroll professionals and was nationally recognised at the 2018 HSJ Partnership Awards when it won 'Best Workforce Innovation'.
Importing your Copy Pay Advice and a range of other ESR output files into the DataPro Connect hub gives you access to a suite of bespoke reports which highlight exceptions, combine datasets and perform complex calculations that would be otherwise difficult and time consuming to achieve.
Would you like retro payments split by tax year with links to the relevant payslip so you can instantly drill down? No problem. How about getting a list of full time employees who are about to receive additional basic pay at the click of a mouse? Consider it done. You can view period comparisons on all elements of pay, easily spot spurious amounts, check high earners in seconds and even run a National Mimimum Wage report which highlights where an employee is about to fall below the NMW based on their age and a customisable set of payments and deductions, and the workload allocation for your team is automatically applied to all output.

The DataPro Connect Time & Attendance Module exploits the often untapped automation potential of Microsoft Office to offer the user a predictable interface without reinventing the wheel or breaking the bank.
Designed specifically for the NHS but customisable to any specification, the system automates the collection of time and attendance data in organisations of any size. Fed from payroll system output data meaning it is always up to date, all types of attendance and absence data can be collected including locally agreed on-calls and other elements, and the timesheets contain lots of validation at the point of input to cut down on errors.
In payroll, there are a range of checks and balances to ensure you know what is being paid and any incorrect or missing data is highlighted. Only when you are ready to proceed will the system collate the information gathered on the timesheets and produce a file for direct transfer to your payroll system for payment.
